My thinking on the new XII is that as cool as an a reproduction of the original bridge would've been, it definitely would've placed these instruments into the top tier blooz lawyer price range. What I'm SUPRISINGLY PLEASED at is that they did take the time to make a surrounding plate for the off th...

The gotoh is fully adjustable but both strings share one saddle and the drone strings intonation is sorted by loosening a plate of metal using an Allen key and shifting backward or forward. This sounds like a minor point but I find it frustrating. It’s also half toploaded, and I expect some ...

Gah. I didn’t notice the bridge on the XII until you pointed it out... my excitement for these has dropped significantly. Fuck. It's not just the bridge, the body shape also seems to differ a bit from the original if you look at various photos, which may or may not bother some. Those changes...

Both are great, and similar function, but different sounds, and, I think, different methods of modulation.
Personally, I’m more tempted by the Waza Dimension, but the demos on this are pretty great.

I’d like to test one, but don’t think I particularly have use for it. It’s hard to say how much is accurate versus editing, but it looks like the signal latency is pretty low in the demo - watching finger attack versus audio swell it seems pretty much instant... which is in line...

Damn, I didn't know about the Blonde P90 version of these; they look pretty interesting. I'll keep my eyes open and send you links if I see one. I always quite liked the MP Marauder, although think I was about the only person who did. Still half regret not picking up a blue one when they got discont...

I picked up the pedalboard last year; Inread the supplied Velcro was garbage, so picked up some from the hardware store and used that instead. The bag isn’t great, but it’s fine, otherwise it’s a solid board for far less than PedalTrain.

I opened it up on Monday; a fairly easy process. Taking a look at the board beneath the keys, the bottom case, the upper case below the knobs, and the boards below that, I saw no evidence any of the drink got below the key surfaces... I put it back together, and have had two band practices since. Ha...

Korg has a drinking problem

Last gig, a glass of cranberry&Fireball fell off a shelf. I thought it had just hit the floor, coating my cables, and splashing my pedals, but, last couple songs, where I play my Minilogue, I discovered wet bass keys... apparently it took a bit of a drink. First patch where I just drone a D for ...

Good to know. It would be interesting to see it and this new colour side by side. I guess I could take my Marauder down to Andertons.... Tidepool, in the photos, looks less saturated/vibrant, perhaps? I still really dig it, and functionally, they’re likely “the same... kinda lik...
