Yeah, I had the mini for a while; found it too subby as a direct M'POG replacement in my setup, but it's still good. Definitely less 'metallic' than the POGs, which sounds nicer with cleaner sounds, but not as sharp with distorted tones.

Yeah, MK2 is no doubt some 'open source' alternative that just sounds worse. Yeah, I bought a mk1 from Hurb and sold my Micro POG; it's pretty much bang on; any tonal difference is down to non-code variables.
