Thanks guys. Means a lot. This SG was a tricky buy for me, but it worked out. I never liked Gibsons as a youngster. I did admire the SG shape though and wanted one, but heard so many horror stories about neck dive and floppy necks. I haven't experienced either of these phenomenon with this SG. I ord...

i hate the look and feel of a telecaster, and even the sound, my off-topic opinion.
The question was "which telecaster?" , not "do you like telecaster?"

Love Empress pedals. Nice Demo Mike.

Somebody local is selling a vintage modified superdelay. I have been weighing whether or no to buy it. Any opinion on the super delay?

Re: It's sensitivity time now I suppose

The shape is often appealing for many, but as said... some people don't want that extra clutter in their life. It's a clever move by Fender because they're breaking into the Gibson market here too, if you're a Gibson player but want to venture out into the Fender world, and don't want a Tele or Str...

$1300 CAD for a 2013 gibson SG standard that I picked up right before the big price drop. (msrp was $2199US, now it's considerably lower)

*facepalm*

yea they should have way more colours available and they should also make a MIA jag and jazzmaster with all standard configuration, except maybe a better neck pocket. It's not like they are the ugly ducklings anymore. A lot of people have warmed up to them. If only bonnamustard would play blues in o...

I love the butterscotch woody Jr. It looks just like the original fender amps from when it all started. The red Mustang III is nice too. Those amps are incredible for home recording. All you need is a good computer and all the updates for the software that comes with the amp. I had a mustang I for a...

my favourite phaser sound is the EHX small stone. I can't stand the volume drop though. I don't know about the nano versions, but I have a big box and it's got volume drop. I know a lot of it is perceived volume drop, due to the effect, but I still want it at unity with my clean tone.

Just me fucking around with the 69 RI compstang and blues jr, clyde deluxe wah, stereo pulsar, ocd and carbon copy.

It's a bit quiet, but I'm too lazy to redo it.

That mustang would be nice with a stetsbar or a bigsby on it. That's about the only good thing about the TOM/Stop tailpiece.
Jazzmaster looks wrong without the trem. Throws the entire aesthetic off. Not as noticeable with the mustang.

If all you had to do was trade your comp straight across, you got the better end of the deal. Love the guitar! I was sort of thinking that for a minute before I decided to trade, but I love this compstang and it sounds and plays just as wonderfully as the Mascis did, so I feel really good about it....
