Makes me want to trade my Jag for a Ric. Really can't top those fast Ric necks.

And the 480/81 are really great looking models. I never considered these before.

Is it time to start scouring ebay?

Goddamit.

I love how affordable Musicmasters are. My current MUSIC MASTER is the best guitar ever. The neck feels like sex-magic. +1000 My current Musicmaster also has a neck that feels like sex-magic! To those who say that 70s Fenders aren't real vintage, are poorly constructed, don't represent a high point...

+1 on the idea of the black one w/ black guard. I'll even forgive the inlays at that rate. This is what I've been waiting for . A poor man's Bass VI with its own character . I'll have one in black please. I'll Robert Smith the fuck out of it ... Get the UltraCure VI?? I'm somewhat glad to se...

Oh nevermind. I didn't realize this guitar was 24" : http://www.guitarcenter.com/Squier-Classic-Vibe-Duo-Sonic--50s-Electric-Guitar-104999552-i1400995.gc?esid=duo+sonic I suppose it's the use of the '50s tag that threw me off. Of course, in the '50s there weren't Fenders with 9.5" necks a...

I must agree with everyone else... that Mustang looks effin' sweet. Yet I gotta say... 70s Fenders are very underrated. Yes, the late 70s Strats are crap. But we're not here to talk about Strats. If you ever get a chance to try out a 70s Mustang, I would definitely recommend that you do. They're not...

Agreed, the Tele looks awesome.

Speaking of which, is that a Tele pickup in the Jagmaster (bridge position) ??

If not, what kind of pickup is that?

I even bought an MBV album once, listened to it, didn't think much of it. Might give it another go. Loveless and Isn't Anything are definitely growers, took me a good few listens to really get into them but once I did I loved them. There are a load of records that I love that this applied to for me...

If you're looking for 24-ers, definitely try to find a CBS era (1965-80) Duo or Musicmaster II before committing to a "production" guitar. Don't get me wrong. New guitars are nice and shiny, and they often have less issues. My AVRI Jag is beautiful. But as J. Mascis said, there's something...

Wow, Squier is making everything these days. It's about time. The demand is certainly there.

When can we expect a 24" Squier Duo-Sonic?? I came across a Mexican one recently, but believe it was only 22.5" :(

Yes, as everyone else has said, amazing looking guitar! Mind if I ask approx how much you paid for it? It's almost as clean as my AVRI Jag. But what really makes me jealous is that the neck has been worn down for you. "Plays itself" are two words I'd use to describe any guitar that is wort...
