It really looks cool, as does Plops's(I do remember your burst one, it's a badass looking rock'n'roller)

Re: Belated NGD: East Coast T1
It looks really nice, congrats! Today's cheap pickups are actually oftentimes quite good, unlike cheap ice picky pickups from 10-15 years ago. I've got one Squier strat and while lust for more never goes away, having less is sometimes a good thing. Nowadays some guitar hobbyists have more guitars th...

Re: WTF Esquire shortbass
£50? That's a steal.
I find it interesting how Japanese manufacturers went from Teiscos to this in just a couple of years, and then from this to almost period correct replicas of everything made in the US in the 50s and 60s. Not saying that Teiscos were bad, I love them, but they were sure different.

Re: Strat wiring question
I rewired a couple of strats and immediately forgot how they are wired. I don't remember how a one pickup guitar with one volume and one tone pots wired without opening the backplate and looking at it.

Has Sonic Mustang got the same specs as the Bullet one? I mean the same 35mm body and the same neck.

Re: Marshall JTM Studio
Cheap solid state amps often have popular pedal circuits as a drive channel, mighr be an original Marshall Guvnor circuit in yours.
I play through a cheap Fender Frontman 15g, the drive channel isn't terrible, but I mostly play through the clean channel and get my dirt with pedals.

Re: New rig.
Now I don't know where I got it from. Either someone I know bought one and it was a dud or when they were released a website like Thoman had quite a few reviews where the thing kept dying on the purchasers. Now a quick search on google doesn't show any complaints about their reliability. Maybe Vox d...

They seem to sound great but I've heard they can be unreliable, can just go dead without any warning.

Re: Sunn Amps Are Back???
Yeah, I've always thought Sunn were some quirky solid state amps from the 70s or 80s, not super boutique tube amps.

I think I nicked "Stompbax" from one of your posts. You should patent it before Josh Scott steals ot.
