I've honestly tried pretty much them all at this point, even weird rare ones) maintains or even BOOSTS that sharp attack. I guess that's the nature of distortion really. Did you try the PW-2? It was, IIRC, supposedly their attempt at a Big Muff style pedal. Hurb did an demo of the Behringer clone: ...

Re: HELP COMPUTER: modding a Boss pedal
Feels like it would be easier to stick another circuit and/or foot switch into a muff enclosure than trying to mod a completely different circuit into something it isn't? Plenty of space. But my point is I want the Boss enclosure because of the form factor and those 2 Boss pedals I mentioned CAN ge...

HELP COMPUTER: modding a Boss pedal
GIJoe.jpeg Hey gang, seeking some specific advice or even offers of handsomely paid service here, so I'd be grateful for any input at all. Ooh super vibey! The wah freakouts remind me of Larry's stuff in Primus, plus the sweeping white noise and delay triplets clicking away in the background, so sick.

Re: pictures of your gear here
more often i've seen players constantly turning their guitar volume up despite it clearly being up all the way, like an OCD/nervous tick. Oh damn yeah I absolutely do this. Obsessively re-tuning after every song as well, although I'm trying to get out of that habit. every goddamn time Feel like I s...

Re: SoCal Amp repair?
It's most likely that the previous owner (or whoever) touched the tube directly, leaving GROSS SKIN OILS on it, which will cause that 'hotspotting', I forget the proper term. That, potentially in combo with an overly-keen bias setting, can take a tube out; those things get hot, Watts.
