Re: NOAD: Korean Rhino

It was good enough for our (drummerless) practice last night so I left it at the bass player's place, though I must adjust my M9 crunch patch settings to provide less of a boost.

Re: NOAD: Korean Rhino

Stripped down, squirted Servisol in the pots and sockets cleaned up the washers and nuts a bit and it's scrubbed up nicely We'll see how it goes tomorrow night. Tech details; a low-noise dual op-amp provides the two gain stages, the rest is all transistor. rga15_back_off.jpg rga1_chassis.jpg rga15_p...

Re: New Squier Paranormal Range

If I didn't already have a Burns Double Six, I'd be all over that LPB Jazzmaster XII. Can't really justify having more than one twelve string though.

NOAD: Korean Rhino

Offered free on a local community Facebook board, so being a tight git and thinking it might do for a small amp to leave round at the bass player's place: rga15_front.jpg RGA15_controls.jpg RGA15_back.jpg It was smaller than I expected, not significantly bigger than the little Marshall practice amp ...

Re: Josh Scott's pedal collection

From the name I thought it was made in association with David Icke as a tribute to Eliza(rd)beth II. Tom makes it sound waffly awfully versatile.

Re: Project: Player Jaguar in mahogany

Another spooky thing to think about that is probably an old wives tale is to not screw up oily rags and chuck them in a bin. As some oil cure in oxygen, it's an exothermic reaction which will generate heat. If they're screwed up, it can apparently generate enough to begin to smoulder and catch fire...

Bridge is one of those weird space-adjustment ones where the saddles spin on a threaded rod
Does that mean they act as a roller bridge?

Some day my plinth will come

I got fed up with trying to balance my little mixer and Behringer interface on the handle of the JTM60 so I cut a scrap bit of mahogany to size and glued a couple of stringers (from some Ikea thing, apparently) to it.

There aren't vents in the top of the JTM60 so cooling is not affected.
