Shouldn't all real Cobain fans go left handed to really honor him? And all Les Paul appreciaters have their elbows shattered. And Bob Dylan's fans crash on a motorbike. Or else don't call yourself a fan LOL, maybe you're right. All true righty Cobain fans should play lefty, and vice versa for the t...

I kinda wish they would add some contours, or maybe give us new colors. Oh well, at least Stratosphere might part them out and sell some necks.

The SED winged C was probably one of the best out there, but they closed up shop several years ago. When that happened, Diamond amps went as far as to declare the EL34 dead, and switched all of their products to 5881's or 6L6's! http://www.diamondamplification.com/5881-conversion I've used EH 6L6's ...

FWIW, those hardtail Affinity Jazzmasters (Which are even less Jazzmaster than these) are pretty good. I like mine a lot, though admittedly I did some work to get it there. http://i.imgur.com/AiO8pN2.jpg This is definitely a long scale Jagmaster with Jazzmaster-ish pickups, but I love burgundy mist....

They look like Jazzmaster pickups, but their construction is really more similar to the P90 style disguised under Jazzmaster covers.

New Affinity Jazzmasters?

Looks like there are new Affinity Jazzmasters on the way in burgundy mist and LPB featuring Strat trems:

That price makes it something I'd watch for on Reverb when they begin popping up used. Sterling makes good stuff.

Looks nice, and now that you've got a pedal board you can concentrate on filling it up, so that you'll have to eventually buy another one. And fill that up too. It never ends...

Definitely. Dunno if the Rockerverb would work with right-handed cabs though? It'd be good to spend an afternoon with some beers finding out the difference between the Matamp 1224 (the least Matampey of the Matamps) and a Rockerverb (I always reckoned the most Orangey of the Oranges??). If you're l...

Orange Dual Dark 50

It feels like I just got that Jim Root Terror, but I found an almost too good to be true deal for a Dual Dark 50 with a PPC212 on Craigslist. It was legit, and I hauled it to my place today. It's kind of like a Rockerverb, but starting with a dirty channel that can switch to an even dirtier, more mo...

Does it have a tube preamp? Interesting. I always feel like it should be the other way around for hybrid amps. Music Man actually had some hybrid designs with tube power sections and solid state preamps. It sounds to me like it would be a better solution. The cost savings over a "Real" tu...

Imagine how huge that would sound... leaving the Orange to handle the dirt/fuzz and the Twin underneath for clarity and modulation fx. Yes, now you have to do it. I've actually been keeping an eye on The Twin/Evil Twins lately just in case I see something I can't pass up. They always go for less th...

Cool amp. You don't think it would be loud enough through the 4x12" if you didn't need any clean sounds? It's loud with a 4x12, but from my past experiences practicing in a garage and playing punk rock stages around the country, 25-30 watts is what I always found to be the lowest I could get a...

I haven't run any through it yet, but it has an FX loop. I should try that out later. I suspect the classic Tiny Terror, or even the Hinds Terror would make better pedal platforms.
