I've wired up a hotrail on a stock Mustang switch as: split/parallel/series, so I'm sure what you're trying to do can be done.
You would lose the phase option with both pickups, though. Both switches would need to be wired to the pots in parallel..

Wow, that's a ton of info. Thanks. It looks a bit intimidating with all the faders, but the whole reason I was looking at them is the ease of editing. The Gaia appeals to me for the same reason. I know they're completely different from each other, I just like the hands on aspect of programming. And,...

Hey Mages, What are your thoughts on the JD-800? http://www.jarrography.free.fr/synths/images/roland_jd-800.jpg I've been eyeing them online lately, but have never seen one in person. From everything I've read it looks like a cool rompler with a built in programmer (check out all those faders and sh...

Like an old ladies underpants, (shrug shoulders)..........Depends What kind of music are you playing? What kind of guitar? Electric or acoustic? I don't believe the wood my guitar is made out of makes a bit of difference for the style I play, but then again I'm no flamenco player either. I'm sure th...

The Roland SH-201 seems a descent starter synth and HERE is one on eBay that the seller misspelled as a SH-210. It's only got a couple bids with 20 hours left. I have never played one, but looks to have okay features for a starter and has usb midi built in. Actually, piss on it - if it stays under $...

What saddens me is that given what you just said and the sheer stupidity it implies, I can't hep but feel we're the ones who equipped him with the idea to con somebody on ebay with his guitar... Like he's clearly not smart enough for the thought to even occur to him on it's own. If you read into an...

I guess what I'm looking for is a reversed A/B switch. The problem I'm having is this: I'm using 2 delay pedals, DD-20 and DD-7. I hate the way they sound after a distortion pedal (OD-20). I also use 2 Phasers and a Flanger, I hate the way they sound after the delays. Everything ends up going throug...

Opposite.

And I know I can make a cable to do it, just wasn't sure if it would fuck anything up.

Stereo to mono?

Is there a pedal that will do this? I don't want it to do anything else, just an input that will take 2 different signals and output to 1. I thought about making a cable, but it seems there could be an issue with signal bleed being fed back to the sources. What I'm trying to do on my pedal board is ...

Thanks for the positive comments, guys This is great!..I never knew you could do stuff like this to them!...shame I dont play keys... I wouldn't say I know how to play keys either ;) The second busted Poly went for too much money, so I guess I'll just have to be happy with the one I've got. I am thi...

I've been contemplating io devices for my iPad recently especially to use with the moog apps but unsure what to use. Any thoughts? If its just midi your looking for, the iRig midi looks good for around 70 bucks and it charges the iPad at the same time. I picked up an M-audio midisport for around 30...

I would stay well clear of it until user reviews come out. I bought an Alesis iDock for my iPad without doing any research only to find that it was buggy as hell. Alesis knew about the problems and had a firmware update, but it barely did a thing. They blamed Apple's 5.0 update and Apple blamed Ales...

Totally awesome thread. I almost grabbed one of these in trade for my Alesis Micron last year, but the guy had already sold it and just gave me cash. I ended up purchasing an Ensoniq ESQ-1 with the proceeds (another underrated dream synth for me). I was very excited to perform the Moog Slayer and F...

I think it's funny how the blue display makes it seem more modern. lol. Yeah. Now he just needs to change the turquoise paint job. Good work there and I'm jealous of the collection. Hey, don't make fun, I like the new display and turquoise. I was digging around in a parts box and found some old tur...

Poly-800

So, I've been into synths lately and have picked up a few this past month. One of them was a Poly-800 I got off eBay for 200 bucks. Some of the stock sounds are exactly what I'm looking for and have found a way to use it for background noises in songs I've been writing. But, before I got it I looked...
