I'm left handed and started by playing left handed, but switched after reading about I should use my dominant hand to fret, because my pick hand just strums, and I haven't changed for 6-7 years.

I never had a problem with rhythm playing, basses are my prefered instrument.

Fender amps don't get me excited very much, but this sounds great. Also don't care about the looks, or Navarro.

Edit: 18 watt side on the 18/30 sounds the best.

I wanted to get one since they came out, but they were and still so expensive.

When people say they are shit with pedals, is it with just dirt pedals or all effects? I like amp distortion and pushing them with boosts but still love using modulation and some delay.

I'd a brief look at the amp, it looks like some sort to metal machine? Solid state? From Boss's 45 second video, it sounds like a ZZ Top amp. It's solid state, probably has some digital modeling witchcraft in it. Four-way Power Control (1 W, 50 W, 100 W, Max) allows for sweet power tube distortion ...

Also that compressor. I don't know why, but I want a compressor.

I think it looks cool, and I don't look at headstocks a lot. I prefer 3 to a side headstocks actually, less thought goes into what tuner I'm holding.
It is also 648mm, or 25.5" scale.

I never had a guitar god to look upon when I started playing, I love Sonic Youth but they aren't an influence on my playing. Some how, the sound of jazz guitar was an ideal, but I can barely play and jazz is not what I set out to do. Jaguar and Danelectro: Friends had these guitars, and the quirky l...

Sounds impressive, isn't.

Gibson should reissue that 30k ohm mudbucker neck pickup and and the vari-tone switching to the SG bass. Then I'd be interested.

Hi I'm bumping this thread because I'm playing my jaguar more and i remember how much i dislike the bridge pickup. i have been using the rythym circuit almost exclusively and it seems a waste to use only half of this guitar. i just want to know if anyone has put a single coil sized humbucker in the ...

Love that EB-3. I have two basses, an Epiphone Jack Casady and an Epi Tbird. I like both a lot; they sound different from each other so they don't step on each other's feet tone-wise. I had a Sterling SUB Musicman for a while and it sounded great in the store, it's active electronics and massive out...

http://image.rakuten.co.jp/westmusic/cabinet/03415550/img61455713.jpg Sploosh . Sploosh indeed. That bridge, those seafoam knobs; it's so pretty now! I have a 50th anniversary DC, and it feels like antiquated garbage. The Rosewood(?) bridge barely intonates right and the gold finish is rubbing off. ...

I want a bass with that pickup layout, but I'm a little off put by it's looks, and the headstock looks like misshaped thumb.
