Re: pictures of your gear here

I bit the bullet about a year or more ago and bought a twin reverb, but like.pretty much everything I have.... it's just not what it seems. I tried to do a bit of research and from what I can gather it is most likely one of the crazy liner 135 watt bastards from the 70s or 80s that has had a decent ...

My jag-stang

A LONG time ago I routed out the top and put a jaguar control plate in it. And for a little while I had a devi ever 33 circuit installed. And then about.... I don't know 3 months ago or less I changed it again and made a new MINT MOP guard for it.

Music stang!

I have had this musicmaster neck for.... 15 years or more. And I'm positive it came from.someone in this group. About 2 years ago I took one of those economy Squier mustangs and completely butchered it. Added a proper bridge. Made a new guard and threw a single p-90 in the bridge. It has since becom...

he was smart enough to take it off. its been a few years but i remember seeing a closet classic looking jaguar, but it had sat with the body guard on, and when it was removed it ended up taking off the finish off of the sides.

i take that back, i did send out shit that i wasn't proud of, but i think with most if not all of it, it was either free, or i was as straight up as possible. the guitar i wanted to make for james would have turned out fantastic had i not gone through the back of the neck. but, it was my 2nd neck th...

nope. not even remotely interested. my main point. give me six saddles or get fuct. i don't want a compensated bridge. i want six damn saddles. sure it may work out well "enough" if you tune to standard, but what about someone like aen who tunes all sorts of crazy? it won't work, ever. per...

i like it.... but there are a few things that bother me. i feel like the bridge pup needs to be closer to the bridge, and the bottom horn isn't rounded enough. it makes me want to take it to a sander. but i dig everything else about it, and the gold foil looking pups have me intrigued.

i think they are a cool idea, but it isn't really a mustang..... lack of trem, switches. and pups, plus its a conversion scale. and it only comes in 2 colors right? baltic blue and flat black. I guess they are cheap enough to be a good modding platform. since its a top loading bridge you could throw...

i thought the squier cyclone necks were conversion necks.... i have one that has been kicking around the shop for about 7 years. I really need to do something with is since its not a bad neck at all, and a decent finish would be worth it.

lee is a beast! some of my fav SY songs are lee songs. as for the trem bit. years ago there was someone in town that had something that looked similar, i don't remember if it was branded or not, but it was on an epi sg. it worked against the string tension and just a flimsy piece of metal, no spring...

vintage mustang/jaguar/jazzmaster bridge question

do the adjustment screws require an allen or a flat head? or are they completely smooth? i could have sworn that they could be adjusted with an allen/hex key.
