Guys.... still listed in the Classified section of the Fourm. While I will consider an offer, don't email me and try and tell me that a L prefix serial number was made in a foreign country to substantiate a low ball offer. Last nite was not my birthday. I am certainly being reasonable, so I would ap...

If you had that silver sparkle maple cap tele, you'd be looking at 50 to 80 grand. It is a cool video, but like a lot of this stuff it's generational. Talented guy, cool gear etc but time is passed. We are on a shortscale site and folks have lost interest in the kurtz, so folks who were interested ...

Here is the information regarding Bob Morris writing the theme song in 1965 which was a #1 hit for Buck.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buckaroo_(instrumental)

This '64 Jaguar could have been the guitar he used while writing this song ?

Bob Morris was sponsored by Fender..... all of his gear was supplied directly from the Factory as part of his sponsorship deal. That's why anytime you saw Bob Morris on TV, on the stage, in a photo..... he has some type of Fender in his hands. If you you Tube the Buck Owens Show episode #42, you wil...

I think you listed it way too low, but the problem is most people on here are into cheap guitars, and are not into that music as much. The telecaster forum would be a better bet, and even offsetguitars.com, because a lot of people are there and many are into expensive stuff. At this price though, s...

robert(original) wrote:that finish is amazing looking.
It has some bumps and bruises.... but for its age its pretty darn good.

He did use the body guard that is with it so it obviously did its part.

Pictures as discussed..... I thought I was going to be reasonable at $3,750.- ........for a 1964 with the not often seen pro sunglass case, case candy, pictures, paperwork. His flatwound strings are still on it, plenty of cool case candy, orig trem bar, mute bar still has orig rubber, old steel pick...

It will somewhat, but not as much as a well-known rock star, and you need to have the proof of ownership authenticated, then have it appraised by someone qualified to appraise celebrity ownership. That sunglasses case is worth quite a lot, by the way. Thanks... I agree on both fronts. I think I wil...

Bob Morris The man who wrote the theme song 'Buckaroo' for Buck Owens.... also wrote 'Made in Japan' for Buck. He and his good friend Don Rich were the ones who convinced Buck to record the original 'Streets of Bakersfield' written by little known Seattle native Homer Joy. You can see Bob on several...

Celebrity Pre-CBS 1964 Jaguar

What do you think...... does celebrity ownership add anything on a vintage Jaguar.....? I have one that I am thinking of cutting out of my collection, and I want to be sure that I price it realistically. It is a L prefix serial number, with a fair amount of his personal case candy from the '70s and ...
