This is slightly outdated, I've sold the Carbon Copy and the wah and aquired a Fuzz Factory, Boss Rv-2, Earthquaker Devices Disaster Transport, Vox Wah and a big box EH Frequency Analyzer.

The YCV combos that Traynor makes are very nice for the price.
I recently just got my first all tube amp and its a Traynor YCV 40 and its very sweet.

I used to have one of those, and I hated it.
The rotary speaker effect was kinda cool though.
What did you hate about it?
It had a really bad bypass, no off/on footswitch, and the flange sounded really shitty.
The non linear effect was kinda cool, especially when playing My Bloody Valentine.

I hear good stuff about Alesis gear, some of it is rack sized, but I picked up a Nanoverb for about £20 the other week, that's 1/2 or 1/3 rack size and looks about right to sit on top of my amp. It might not be as convenient as a stompbox but for £20 I'm not complaining. http://images.misupply.co...

Re: I need a new amp...

I have a silverface twin that's my main band workhorse, but for the bedroom right now I've got shite. Just a G-Dec and some cheap mark II amp I bought for $10. I need a good workhorse for recording and practice. I'm thinking tube's the way to go, as I never really seem satisfied with anything solid...

I found the JB to be really well balanced and chunky when I had one in my Jag-Stang. My complaints about that guitar were that it was too dark and woolly and the JB was tighter in the bass and added nice mids and highs. It's a nicely bright pickup. Thats good to know about the JB, my new Schecter T...

Depends on the pedals, but you should be pretty happy. What booster are you thinking of buying - there's a whole lot on the market and for a simple circuit some are very overpriced. What amplifier are you using and what sound are you going for? You may be better getting a more gainy pedal in the fi...

Booster Question

Example, If you had a Boss Super Overdrive and you had an MXR Micro Amp or any kind of Booster pedal behind it, could you use the booster as a gain boost?
I'm not really familiar with booster pedals...

Re: Some Amps

Last is a Cyber Twin. It is currently my main amp. No hasstles, no worries, I "think" it is 130 watts. Some times, when i'm not too lazy, I will use it with the late 60's 2x12 cabinet (pictured) from my 50 watt Bassman (not pictured). http://theblackbeauties.net/MY_AMPS/CYBER.jpg http://t...

I just got a Daddy-O a few weeks ago, and I love it, My semihollow body through the Daddy-O sounds amazing for blues and the White Stripes.

Didn't Kurt Cobain used to keep one of those on stage so he could throw it around?
