The cheap little 10" frontman combos have the most muff like distortion of any combo I've used.

I've been trying to up my game in the knob making dept

I have kind of jumped from doing stomp box knobs over to doing more stuff for guitars and amps. I am really enjoying putting stuff in knobs. Any ideas of other cool shit I can drop in there? I might get some fish hooks at the store later... http://s28.postimg.org/xfepqnhfd/steam1.jpg http://s9.posti...

Here's how I've done it.

Heat the finish with a heat gun, then spray it with canned air until frosty shit spews out. Crackle goodness.

I have always liked any of the Roland combos for loud, clean, and compact. I have a little "spirit" combo that is amazingly loud for its size. I think I paid $120 for it.

These don't seem like any sort of great deal to me unless real estate is at a real premium. I am glad to see the circuit back in production tho.

Adding new stuff all the time. Short scale necks will be added soon. I have a run of maple 12" radius necks with big headstock and zero fret currently in production.

Really,I think the drawn wiring diagram is throwing you off. Really you just need to solder your input/outputs to where the jacks were and power. Polarity is going to be your only concern. Do you have a DMM? You can always determine tip from sleeve on the in/out jacks by checking continuity to ground.

Yeah, my job took an unfortunate turn and I took an early retirement bail out. I am going to be selling them. I can either have them glossed or unfinished. I prefer 12" radius myself too. Hmmmmm.

So, I am going to have some necks made, radius opinions?

I am setting up a purchase from a local luthier I work with on a lot of projects. I am having a run of necks made, maple, big headstock, 24" scale, zero fret, gibson style nut. Last issue I am facing is what radius do I have them made in? My knee jerk is 7.25 but I know there is a ton of 9.5 an...

*Most* pedals like behringers, danos, etc are on and active when they power up. When doing a rehouse I pull the pcb mount jacks and wire direct to the power pads and in/out jack pads.
