One does not simply open an amp demo with a Bon Iver cover and not at least attempt the falsetto singing.....

I've built quite a few musikding kits. the pcb's are always really well made and i don't think I've ever had a problem with them. id start by trouble shooting the wiring as thats where I've often gone wrong. edit: assume couve also checked that you have components in the right way round where necess...

I got one a couple of weeks ago for a quick and easy reverb for when I'm at home. Its ok, but having to change the settings with your phone gets tiresome once you've got over the 'Cool!' factor. Also not being able to tweak and change settings means that you're 'verb will be close enough, but never...

The best tip I've found with dwarfcraft stuff is just to USE IT! mess with it, guitar, bass, synth, cheap £1 keyboard, twiddle, twiddle with it facing away from you. Don't get hooked up on what knob does what. Just use it! Some days it'll sound like hell! It's supposed to! Write a song based on tha...

Yeah it's the industry standard for a reason really!

But if you are just starting out and testing the water I'd even go with a budget version of the '57

This may get scoffed at but try a Behringer sm58 copy. I've gigged with one for years and it's perfectly serviceable

In the long run you'd be better off with a semi decent mic and a USB interface. I don't have any real experience of USB mics but I'm sure you'll get better quality from even a budget dynamic mic

If you get a free daw like reaper then there are a shed load of free vst instruments. What type of drum sounds are you after & is it just for home recording? Yeah just for home stuff for Definate but would like to get some "nice sounds" pop-py/rocky sorta stuff If it's not already bla...

I've heard good stuff about it but it's a bit too spendy for me I'm afraid. Anyone got any more ideas?

Drum Sequencer for Mac?

Whats a good one? preferably free and as easy to use as possible as this is a first for me?

I use reaper so something that works well with that is essential

doesn't need to be overly pro but looking at doing something more than just four on the floor monotony

Love my LPB1, not the most transparent but adds a slight flavour which I personally like. A lot of folk seem to be going for the EP Booster at the moment. Might be worth a look. I'd love an ep but no way I'm paying so much. Worth noting that it adds gain as well as per the old echo circuit it's bas...
