That's a Squier. He has three of the four colours - I offered to sell him one of my white ones so that he would have a full set. He hasn't bitten yet.

lol i never saw a super sonic for 350 in my life squier or fender I bought my first Squier for $299. I bought my last two Fenders, a red and an orange, for $350 each in the fall of 2014 from Sam Ash. The most I've paid for any, of the nine, is $500. http://wadeaminute.ca/blog/wp-content/uploads/201...

These are Pawn Shop series guitars without that designation / marketing. I think that they are cool. And I think that, like the Fender Pawn Shop Super-Sonics, they will be blown out in two years for half price. The PS Super-Sonics were $799, and they were marked down to $350 two years later. So, pat...

I'm going with Deep Marine.
Also - remember - the clear coat yellows over time. That is a factor. My silver sparkle one looks gold.

Loving the stats and graphs, b.e.nny! When I was buying the last couple of mine ( I have six of the Vistas), pre-2010, I was paying about $450 - $500 for each. White was the hardest to find (I have two). The Fender Pawn Shop ones were made in 2012, 2013, and 2014. They were blown out as a failed / d...

Could we assume that they are the same ones that are in the Super-Sonics? If so, I likely have extras, as I've swapped out the pickups on five of my six guitars. They are black and not white, though.

This is what I did to mine: http://wadeaminute.ca/blog/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/ORMPrailFull.jpg Put a P-Rails pickup in a Triple Shot mounting ring, attached it with a piece of pickguard to make it look like a dog-eared P90, added a tone control, black witch hat knobs, and a momentary kill button...

That guard is excellent, I would have preferred it in black but the design is cool really adds to the guitar.
Thanks. And I have to admit, black looks pretty good.

The surprising thing to me about the guitar was the truly excellent Duncan Designed pickups and their contribution to the sustain of the guitar. You could go have a bite. I was fully expecting to have to get new pickups but when I plugged it in for the first time I was so pleasantly surprised! They...

The Gibson Moderne keeps failing. I have a 2011 one in black that I adore. Has '57 Classic pickups and weighs only 7.3 pounds. And to me, is amazing looking.

The Squier Super-Sonic, and the Fender Super-Sonic, both failed the first time around. I think that they are pretty alright.

This: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7314/12626230574_0b1e293aed_k.jpg Everybody shat on the strat jack jag when it came out, I won't repeat the reasons why. It's one hell of a guitar, and is my favourite to play these days. I got rid of the fugly tort and added pickup rings and metal covers to the ...

Both of the Super-Sonics have the unique pocket - normal short-scale necks won't work. I haven't tried it, but I suspect that the Japanese and Mexican necks might be compatible. As I had one of my Mexican ones converted to a XII, I sorta want to put that neck on a Japanese body just for kicks. They ...

ORM-1 with mods

I have added a P-Rails pickup mounted in a Triple-Shot humbucker ring, a tone knob, a momentary kill-button, and some dog ear-shaped pickup risers to my ORM-1. http://wadeaminute.ca/blog/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/ORMPrailFull.jpg http://wadeaminute.ca/blog/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/ORMPrailbody.jpg
