I would make so much love to that thing.

I love the mentality sellers have... 'if the date has old numbers in it, then the guitar must be well worth 2k!'
But then again, I guess someone MUST be paying these prices or people would stop trying.

Who's to say what anything is worth. The price of parts in any of these pedals is less than $20, but if what it does for you is worth $150, go for it. All of the truth. It is all about trying it. Sometimes I just feel like their are certain pedals that exist on 'fleecing' you based off of namesake ...

Death By Audio Fuzz War

I have recently been interested in getting a fuzz to use in a live setting (right now I am making due with stacking overdrives together) because I am tired of having very many pedals. I have always been interested in a IC Muff (which I would gladly order from someone on here who makes pedals...) but...

I am currently bidding on this thing, I hope it goes well. Seller even included recording and pictures that make the action appear to be fine. Stella Harmony Well I bought it, all birch not sure of the year, and with shipping it cost me what the new Gretsch would probably cost me and I'm willing to...

Digging up an old thread cause relevant. SO I WANT A PARLOUR guitar too... and I was wondering if y'all think I be dumb to consider buying either of these: Harmony Stella or Harmony Stella 2 Are these the sorta things you gotta try to buy? I've played parlours but I don't wanna spend 400 on a new on...

My band has two guitarists and no bassist, I simply play flat-wounds through a guitar amp with a bass amp plugged in as an extension cab. I'm thinking the Bass VI may be an interesting way to allow for chording/rhythm but add some body to my tone.

I think it just needed some settling. The tuning is holding a bit longer, I suspect it should be fine in a few days. If not I will start considering my options.

Can't be more happy with how gorgeous this thing is.
As expected, I look like a grade A sex-bot holding a Jag.

NGD - Vintage Modified Jaguar

So my VM Jaguar arrived from Singlepickup and it is a damn fine beast. The quality of the neck and body is amazing for the price these sell for. It has some serious weight to it overall, and the fret-dressing is fine. Nothing to complain about in terms of build quality. The only things I can complai...

So I took out the tank, checked all the solder joints, they were nice and tight.
I don't know what to do next.

I can't figure out what tubes are for the reverb, and I also don't know how to mess with tubes... do you tighten them? This is my first tube amp and I feel like I am a helpless 12 year old.

Or just shaken all the m@j@ out
I will get on that tomorrow. I was literally just poking it today.

And yeah, it is the re-issue.

Fender Vibrolux Reverb Issue

So I got a used Vibrolux Reverb for 700 Canadian and it is awesome. On my 4th day of having it, I am demonstrating it to my father, and he picks it up and puts it down violently with the Reverb fully cranked. I hear a large KLAAAANG and from then on, even with the reverb set to 10 I only hear it ver...
