I just bought an original Super Feedbacker & Distortion, mostly just for the novelty of it. The FB-2 looks a lot more useable. The feedback on the old Df-2 does not change with tremolo movement. It's just a constant note that can't be manipulated while you're holding the pedal down. This new one...

Let me save you some time. I've tried this with the same guitar, and I could never get it set up right. My advice is to leave it as is, or sell it and get an MIJ jag.

I've wanted to play one of these for a while now. It might be my last hope of finding a shortscale I can play. What is a couch strap?

I think the best way to wire a mustang is to use a right angle 3 way toggle (route the lower horn), a bronco or musicmaster pickguard (route for the other pickup), and you're done. But that's just me. Why drill a hole in the body and pickguard when you have ample switches already? There are enough ...

None. It's a musicmaster pickguard that I modified.

Well honestly, I've come to the conclusion that I'm too big to play shortscales. I'm 6'3" with giant hands. It's hard for me to play anything but power chords, even with 10s on it. It sucks, since I've always loved them. I'm also one of those evil strat/LP/humbucker loving guys, and I have a bu...

Well there are pictures in the auction, but since eBay makes them look like they were taken with Game Boy Camera...here you go: http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b226/rlm2112/DSC00126.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b226/rlm2112/DSC00125.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b226/rlm2112/DSC00...

I read trem plate as neck plate at first too. Not Squier as Fender though. On a related note, I'm thinking about getting one of these after playing one at GC yesterday. http://media.fmicdirect.com/fender/images/products/guitars/0148400500_frt_wmd_001.jpg http://www.fender.com/products/blacktop/model...

Squier Strat Candy Apple Red - Upgraded

I bought a 2008 Squier Standard CAR strat off craigslist for $90. I've wanted one for a while, but the $230 retail price wasn't worth it. It was in great condition. The only problem was the super light anemic looking neck. I decided to refinish the neck, which will be it's own project. In the mean t...
