dan, you'll likely find that in a university environment you'll get ideas for stuff just from talking to other people, visiting the library, etc. your brain will likely move up a gear when it's being stimulated by stuff . I've just finished my first year and this couldn't be more true. No doubt you...

my first project on my degree was a fanzine about leeds, i chose to do mine about the local music scene: bands/record shops/venues (both past and present) which is a pretty obvious choice for a zine. Some cool stuff other people did were Cats of LS6 (an area of leeds), Graffiti around the city, City...

HOOKWORMS - White Light/White Heat/Wooden Shjips/Spacemen 3 bummers. Psychedelic, droney jams. Only got one song up at the moment, more to follow when I get sent the recordings

HEY PANDA - My old trashy noisy lo-fi post-punk band. Utterly shambolic, was always fun to play in though

got this thing up to about 16 minutes now.

Anyone got any films with weird imagery they could suggest I use?

Films used so far are:
Lucifer Rising by Kenneth Anger
Careful by Guy Maddin
Glen or Glenda by Ed Wood
The Wild One (just because marlon brando and motorbikes are cool)

Funny how the picks look put together on photoshop.. they dont bother to picture their guitars, they just combine pictures of parts.. The stratocaster looks super 'put together on computer' If you're talking about the pictures from the from the first page then I agree with you. The pixelation aroun...

trippy video

Made this video to have projected on my band, Hookworms, when we play live. For our past few gigs we've just been using films but I decided this will look better and it's pretty fun to make.
