Okay they started making the ES-125 in 1941 so I guess that would jibe with the headstock logo... BTW, what matters is it sounds so good. You know you have a keeper and when you play it you start writing new songs.

I was told by the previous owner it was a 1946 Gibson L48 that a Gibson employee installed pick ups in. It has no serial number.

So I got this today... I know it is a Gibson, but what?
