I'm in a magazine!

My band have a live review in the most recent issue of a local magazine called 'Beep!'. I'm pretty pleased with it, although this reviewer seems to describe everything as math-rock (a few of my friends' bands have been bafflingly described as the same). Check it out! Lank. That's a link to our blog,...

That is a seriously sexy guitar.

The gold/blue burst was kind of meh, I prefer the plain blue.

Okay I won't do, cheers for the advice.

My aforementioned friend reckoned those ones usually went for £60-100. :?

Teisco

I'm considering buying a new guitar with my birthday money. A friend of mine was obsessed with Teisco's for a while and he's got me obsessed too. They sometimes seem to go for fairly cheapz on the 'Bay, but obviously buying from there there's no chance of trying it out beforehand. So does anyone hav...

I think I saw a guy in a local band playing a purple one of those. No idea what it was called, but I'll see if it says anything on their MySpace...

EDIT: Nope, not the same guitar. I agree with Jimmy though.

The clean mix thing sounds like an interesting idea, I reckon. I know a few of my favourite albums have clean guitar tracks as well as the distorted ones (in the distorted parts, I mean), and it sounds pretty great. Could be a good little pedal.

Thanks! That means a lot, my voice has always been kind of a dividing line, some people really hate it :\

I'll upload some mp3s to MediaFire at some point for other people who can't get on with MySpace...

My ears pricked up at the mention of built-in fuzz. Sounds interesting and looks amazing.

Sorry if I'm being stupid, but I don't really understand how this is an amp. It looks like a pedal, and no sound comes out of it without a speaker of some sort connected. Does it mean you can plug your guitar straight into a PA instead of micing up an amp and it won't sound crap? no that'd be an am...

I've never seen a ProGuitarShop video with that man's face in before. His face doesn't fit his voice.

The amp sounds lovely though.

This is my go-to guitar, and has been for the whole 2 years since I bought it, partly because the only other guitar I've had for that time is an Affinity Telecaster. It was set up perfectly for me when I bought it, the action is nice and low, and I just love the sound of this thing. All parts are st...

I've only listened to a couple of tracks, but so far this is awesome. Very Bilge Pump-esque, and if you've heard of another Leeds band called Pulled Apart By Horses it reminds me of them as well.
