Class! I would want people in the audience to see it on my pedal board though. I would want to show off.

This thing looks soo good. How does it sound? To me it sounds great, its a pure sounding amp where you notice the differrence between each guitar plugged into it. It seems to take pedals well aswell (although saying that, ive only been able to put them in one at a time as I dont have enough cables!...

Ah thanks Thom.

I paid £150 for it about a two years ago. I'm nut sure if it was a good price but at the time I had cash and just fell in love with it.

Hmm, I dont know what I have done there, or how I can be so incredibly cack-handed as to make that happen. I'm tired of this now and I dont want to play anymore.

Trace Elliot Velocette

Finally got round to taking some snaps of my lovely little Trace Elliot Velocette. They are only phone photos like and I aint no camera man but still. 15w 10" speaker 2x12AX7s and 2xEL84 A volume and a tone control, a bright switch and not a lot else. Its got a great, pure clean tone and when y...

Class video, thanks for sharing it.

What they say about Flintstones meets the Jetsons reminds me of something that a member of Wall of Voodoo said about them (WoV) being like cavemen running barefoot through a world of modern technology.

Just got a Rocktron Sonic Glory overdrive

Got it for £20.00 second hand and although I've only had about 10 minutes on it I'm pretty pleased with it. Its like a nice warm low gain overdrive, it was a toss up between that or trying to find a danelectro Transparent OD second hand but I thought for twenty quid I might aswell. If nothing else ...

I'd never really listened to these until today like. I've seen stuff about them and that they are held in quite high regard. I'm getting quite into it so thanks for that. Looking through that gear list sort of cements the need for me to bite the bullet and get a big muff (or decent fuzz) really. As ...

Anyone have/use an EH Double Muff?

Continuing my forray into the world of effects pedals I've been investigating drive/fuzz pedals. I've been looking at the Electro Harmonix Double muff for £34 and am quite interested in it. Sadly none of my local shops have any in to test out so I have had to rely on proguitar.com youtube videos. I...

Thanks for the reply. I'm mostly playing a fender tele or a mustang through my Deville 212 but I also have a little trace elliot vellocette. At the moment ive been playing mostly what you would consider indie/rock stuff like pixies, xtc, smiths stuff but I also play some jazz. I know that a lot of p...

Pedal help please

At risk of retreading familiar ground I thought I'd ask advice on the cheaper end of the pedal market like behringer, danelectro etc... Currently I dont use any effects pedals at all, largely because of the fact that I dont own any, but am looking broaden my sound a little and was wondering whether ...

Might sound obvious but for the grease try some multi surface antibacterial wipes, I use them on my guitars and then dry it off with kitchen roll and they seem to do the job pretty well. Not that I get grease on my guitar but occaissionally some undesirable will have a go of it. Glad you got the gui...

Quite an embarrassing demo really that. Even if I was into the tone and that "style" of playing I still dont think that video would have sold it to me.
