I'd definitely go for either of the SGs there. Under a hundred quid for a beater and if it was mega awful you could just smash it up or make it into some kind of terrible noise making device/novelty prop guitar. Or put it on the wall of your Rock themed café.

Yeah, I'd feel bad not at least going and offering something. How did you get it so clean?

I just cant understand the prices of these. About 6 months ago I weas in a shop and asked the price of a new Princeton and thought he said 500 to which I responded "Ah that's alright" then realised he had said 900. £900 quid isn't alright in my opinion.
I play with some harp players. This is one from a festival last year. The video is shakey but you'll get the idea. We had 2 harmonica players and 2 drummers. This was a mixture of a bunch of local bands. We opened for the legendary chess records pianist Henry Gray. ...

Also, I have googled this but I just ended up sifting through loads of companies that offer solely guitar based holidays which doesn't really fit in with what I'm thinking of.

Guitar/guitarist Holidays

Does anyone know of any companies or projects that offer travelling musicians a chance to jam/learn/perform with musicians or bands? Me and my girlfriend are trying to save for a big trip to the good ol' U.S of A and I had the crazy idea that somewhere I would be able to have a day/night or two wher...

I'm micro so we got all of the friarage lot over here last year. Guitar types at your end? I never bring up guitars here because I can't stand the blank faces. Do you ever go cross site?

[laughs] Funny that, I have access to the same intranet! Talk about coincidences... It's a bit of a shame that there are no pics - all I'm seeing now is the same vague ad you're seeing. I'd recommend you contact the seller for more info...if only to take the temptation away from me if you do buy it...

I'm a sucker for a racing stripe. Esquire GT, compstangs, pawnshop mustang bass.... whatevs man, you put a stupid stripe on it, and I want it 20% more than I previously did.
I like compstangs and that but there is just something about it on the toro that doesn't sit right with me.

Thanks. Yeah I thought it would probably one like that but I might give her an email just to see. I think the stripe looks a bit stupid really, makes it look incredibly tacky.

Is a Toronado worth it?

There is a Toronado for sale on the NHS intranet where I work. There are no pictures, it says nothing about the year or anything. Just says "Red. Good condition £350. Selling because I am emigrating". Having never played one I wouldn't know the what they are like so I thought I'd ask arou...
