My first guitar was an SG200. It's sadly a bit worse for wear these days and I've long toyed with the idea of getting one of the fancier more upmarket ones.

What's the little switch between the tone controls and the output jack? Some sort of coil split?

Just turned 50 and was intending to buy a birthday year guitar - but didn't find any I liked then I saw this beauty - bit younger than me and substantially more awesome- so the birth year idea will have to wait.

I've had a 1300t and an 800 - both higher specs but prefer the selector switch ...

New Classical guitar day - there's a new charity shop opened up near me and they seem to get quite a lot of musical instruments donated to them (lve bought a couple of old 80s toy synths lately). I went in today as it looked like they'd had a few guitars donated to them and found this old 70s MIJ ...

I'd need to record the speaker or add a line out

New find £18 boxed - another old Yamaha PSS-80 square wave synth this time... as heard on Katy Perry California Gurls.

Bought this for £15 today - Yamaha PS-1 (1980) full working order original case - total Human League vibes - fucking love this thing.

Finally getting my music room set up again - dug out all my old pedals (and dodgy toy synths). Intending to put this small board on my studio desk as I miss using the HM-2 and the Big Muff I have a Boss GE-7 arriving tomorrow to replace the EQ pedal.

Well new psu finally appeared and this wee thing is pretty cool - in a naff totally outdated kinda way. Perfectly recreated the NiN Ruiner sound and has some weird synth like effects in there too definitely worth the £25 I paid for it and the psu.

Continuing my foray into redundant guitar technology from my youth - and an obsession with NIN - I bought this:
