Need help with Les Paul D string

The D string on my LP studio has sunk so low that the string is touching the first fret. The nut slot for the string looks a bit more grooved than the rest. Is there a way to remedy this problem or do I need to buy a new nut?

I used to have a bass super similar to that the one in question. Always thought it was a Teisco.

But they look incredibly cheap and wouldnt trust them.
For what it's worth, other Monoprice stuff that I've tried has all been solid, build wise.

Not really a fan. I am a short dude but I like the full size of my Casino. Love the stock pickups too.

That said, Plaidbeer yours looks the business. As long as you like it, Cheers!

I really like this one. Not pointy, gibson, or japanese, but offset and decent pickups (if you don't mind active PAF style). http://d1zm3aiczg2e25.cloudfront.net/images/stories/virtuemart/product/v-1-platinum-tilt9.png http://www.schecterguitars.com/guitars/v-1-platinum-detail eBay isn't Craigslist....

I think it is the stock case. It is the case I see most of them in on google images. :) Plus it says Gibson in it and I can't imagine many other Gibby's fitting in it. It is super thin. Nah, I meant are most of these guitars made of masonite or not (now that I've read the entire thread I see that t...

That looks great! I have heard that some of these Kalamazoo guitars are less than well made. Doesn't seem true of this one, but is that the usual case?

I didn't fill the dents etc. I like a guitar that has a bit of character.

Saltbooster (Guts) Help

I love my Saltbooster (who doesn't?) but recently it has been emitting a very loud squeeling sound when it's plugged in sometimes. When I wiggle the input it goes away for a bit. Any idea what the problem is? The pedal doesn't have to be on for this to happen.

I wish the Fender "offset" or that weird Marauder thing with the triple bucker looked this good. Reminds me a little of the original Schecter banshee.

Ampeg makes their own now too, which I think I'd rather have. Plus that drive circuit don't sound half bad from demos I've heard. http://www.notreble.com/buzz/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Ampeg-SCR-DI-620x361.jpg Effing hell, is that a Scrambler circuit built into that thing? That's pretty rad. Fuzz ...

I've been keeping an eye on them. Played one a NAMM and seemed to be alright. For the price you can't really lose, assuming you don't get a lemon.

Re: Not shit guitars of NAMM 2015

Fender Sergio Vallin sig. I like this body shape. It's like an offset Strat, looks like something Musicman would make with maybe a touch of Performer. http://cdn.mos.musicradar.com/images/Product%20News/Guitar/Jan15/namm2015/fender-signatures/Fender-Sergio-Vallin-Signature-Guitar-crop-1200-80.jpg H...

Would you recommend the Stylish Fuzz (for someone who is used to say, a russian reissue)? I could use another cheap Muff style fuzz.

Either of you, not just Shad.
