Yeah, bronco style pickguard.
Will be string through too.
It's gonna be either white or burgundy mist, with white pickguard, that's what I got and I got no money to buy any more.
I'm moving closer to BM though.

Looks a bit more like a guitar... http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g45/greasermonkeyinprint/Guitars/08022010.jpg I routed some cavities for some 'lectrics. I stole my switch placement idea from that blue bronco that has been posted on here a few times. Gonna try to make a pick guard for it tomorrow...

This is my second neck build. The first had a few mistakes, but that's what life is about. In my opinion the most important thing is to establish a datum. Truss rod on the centre line with frets and nut perpendicular to it. I started with my plank (19X115mm PAR maple) I drew on my centre line, marke...

I'm impressed Cur! I don't think I'm skilled enough for a 1 piece neck. I presume you're going to have a skunk stripe? I've done a fair ammount of research before starting this. I've spent hours on You Tube, various web forums (tdrpi.com especially), and some other instructional websites. I looked a...

I started radius sanding the fret board, but got bored. So I made myself a new template for the pickguard. http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g45/greasermonkeyinprint/Guitars/29012010_002.jpg Basically, it's the outline of a bronco PG but tweaked in the bridge area. A bit like a late musicmaster. htt...

new projects: Muttstang build + tele refin.
I started with MDF and made templates. For the body I used my bronco, traced, cut sanded and checked for accuracy. For the neck template I used my Jagstang neck. Using a combination of measuring and tracing, I think its pretty accurate. I bought 2 mahogany one piece body blanks at a local hardware s...

How I did it Loosen the screw. Install trem arm Tighten screw really tight Rotate trem arm about it's axis (spin it around) Tighten screw. Spin. Do this a couple of times and the end of the screw wears a groove in the trem arm. The groove stops the arm falling off. I have done this twice (jagstang a...

Need some TECHNICAL neck building advice
First of all, i need to apollogise for the 'I saw a UFO and heres proof' photographic style. Anyway, I have this telecaster style guitar, but never liked the neck. Was really fat backed and flat raduised. So I decided the best way to get what i want was to make it. Anyway. The question: I used a fre...

Given that i like shitty '70s stuff, i should love this! But i have never played a les paul, or any kind of replica, so don't know wether i like them or not? I have (sadly) bought the remains of a sattelite guitar of this seller. Will NEVER be a guitar again. I can't find a bridge narrow enough, and...
