yeah, that sounds and looks right, it's a mid 90's MIJ mustang.. I have a blue one.. mine is Your guitar was made at the Fuji-gen Plant (for Fender Japan), Japan in the Year(s): 1995 - 1996 Nice guitars, I love mine... apparently they are a bit different to the 69RI's ... the much redder tort guard ...

It seems a slightly odd choice to me too if I'm honest, I never liked sunburst strats with black pickguard.

Apparently, the claws were an attempt to brighten the pickup by "focusing" the magnetic polepiece's response in a certain freq. range... I'm not sure if there's any practical value to that but that's what the claws are supposedly meant to do. interesting, you'd think a single coil would b...

so a local guitar store just got one of the jazzmasters in stock. it was one of the sunburst models... the neck on it was decent, but would have been better if the neck didnt have a finish on it...i wouldn't say it's nearly as good as the CIJ necks on normal jazz and jags, but way better than squie...

I just took a look at my Jaguar side by side with my Jagmaster. Not possible without serious mods. Jagmaster's pickguard is not as fat as the Jaguar's control plate, not to mention bridge and screw hole placement. You would be better to have a custom guard made that lines up properly. You could lay...

if I just cut the bottom off my Jagmaster pickguard will I be able to put a Jaguar chrome control plate on or is there something stopping it from working?
