Thanks for all the nice comments guys! I've swiftly fallen in luuurve with this guitar.

Fran Ė Been holding off answering your query as I needed to experiment. The quick answer is that there is no terrible neck dive and there is no point where you feel like you are having to support the neck with your hand. That being said if you donít hold it and do a little dancy-jig then gravity will start to pull it down. Left alone though it sits fine. Essentially itís just the right side of balanced.

As an experiment though, I mounted a Schaller strap lock to the front horn as this brings the strap point out by about an inch. This was to see if extending the fulcrum point made a better, ore balanced feel. It does, but only by a small margin. The down side for me is I just prefer the feel of a normal strap mounting to the feel of the strap-locks. I may be talking M@j@ bollocks here but thereís something about that metal-on metal contact point between me and the wood that makes me feel more Ďdistancedí from the overall feel of the guitar as I play it, and can kind of feel it through the strap as I move. I generally donít like it, though I respect the practicality. At the moment Iím undecided which way Iíll go on that point.
