Hello All, Well the time has come for me to build myself my dream guitar, a Fender Jaguar, in my opinion the most sexy guitar to ever roll of the Fender line! I had the neck and body custom made for me and here are the specs!

Body: Alder with a modern routing

Neck: CBS headstock, Rosewood, Clay dots, truss adjustment on the side of the neck (will explain how that works later, it's out of the way and pretty cool), compound radius, modern tuner holes

Pickguard: Made for strat size pickups I will be winding my own pickups for this, they will be single coil size mini humbuckers

Paint: NITRO!!!! Ocean turquoise metallic with comp. stripe and nitro clear coats

I got a Mustang bridge for it and the barrels in the bridge have their own height adjustment on them for total set up control!

Here is the build so far!

Primer Coat using B.I.N. schellac base, great for nitro

Aged nitro coat for the competition stripe

Laying the tape for the stripe

The first coat of ocean turquoise nitro

Pulled the tape off

the aged finish under the stripe is a nice touch, looking really clean so far.

Hey wow thanks so much guys! I was going to do a matching headstock, but when I saw the ocean turquise, to rosewood, to maple head, it was just to sexy for me to mess with. Here i'll show ya what I mean:

It's funny being 27 years old a lot of my fellow musicians are like "Whay the F do you wanna build a Jaguar?" they just don't get it, I take comfort here haha

its ok to say fuck, we are all adults here.
i used to have an avri(04) ocean turq jaguar, it was my main thing until i sold it to pay vet bills.

indeed but i just bought another one with a matching stock, im going to set it up the way my avri was.
looks like you and i have the same taste in guitars, and i salute you in your attempt to wind your own pickups, we have a few members that have tried that before.
