Was browsing Amazon at work the other day and stumbled on a silly deal for one of those tubescreamer amps.
15 Watts
6V6 (fender kinda sound)
FX Loop
Loads of Cab options on the back
Footswitch included

150 posted!!!!
It's listed as one of their warehouse deals, as an open box return. It's not even been opened!!
Hoping to run it side by side with the Hughes and kettner for the tonez!! Smile

Is that a built in tube screamer as a preamp?

For the gain side, yes. But completely out of the circuit when not engaged.

I'm hoping it will be a cheap way of curing my fender amp urges. Plus I can switch it to five watt mode for home use Wink

Might be heading that way. I use it in the living room, but all my amps have power scaling so not used as much. Did you want the 1x8 as well?

Back panel shot. It arrived at work, so not had chance to plug it in yet. Will grab some better shots later Wink

Still saying "1 used available".... I quite like the look of the 5 watt EL84 head branded "Sub-zero" for 84.99 _+ 9.99 shipping

Ha. I had, mistakenly, assumed from your original picture that it was sat on a matching cab. Didn't realise it was your desk

That's why I asked for moar pics. Must have seemed a strange request in retrospect...

Looking great. That's your 'smallish amp' itch scratched then. Result!

lol just twigged the first pic looks like it's on top of a cab. I'm planning to use my h&k cabs with it. Might get the matching cab if cheap enough.

Let us know how it sounds. On the bargain front, I just picked up an Ampeg GVT15H for 75 quid!

Dibs granted, although I doubt i'll be selling - I already have one and they sound ace. If I can find a 50 watt version I may sell it on though.
