i think i may be the l-30, mainly becuz it appears the red ink is a 30.

It's a half inch round over around the entire body. The picture does look a bit funny on the bottom. On the bottom, it looks like it has a sharp edge, but it's just the photo.

you could always just carve out the space for a humbucker, replace the neck pickup with um, a texas special, stick a strat vibrato on it and slap on some black housepaint. it'd look the biz.
